1/365 {learning something new} joy

I recently decided that with a baby on the way I really wanted to knit and/or crochet. While I haven't quite got the knitting down I have learned the basics of crocheting. About two weeks ago I bought my first skeins of yarn and have started a blanket... this is as far as I've gotten :) Though I don't have much time to work on my new project I do enjoy the time I get.

Project 365 :: Simple Joys

Welcome to 2011!!! It's going to be an amazing year I can just feel it! There are so many things that I want to do and accomplish this year! What better day than January first to get started. This year one of my main goals is to participate in something called Project 365. I take a photo every. single. day. It can be of anything I like. I'm going to focus my project on simple joys and things that make me smile. There are no rules. I will try to post my photos once a week.

My hope is to document a year in my life. To capture the simple joys that I find in being a wife, daughter, sister, friend, niece, photographer, and soon to be mommy.
